Buena Park

Buena Park lies in the southeast corner of Uptown, just next to Wrigleyville, five miles north of downtown Chicago. It is home to great restaurants and shops and bars a few steps away from Wrigley Field. The neighborhood’s landmarks other than its suburban-like homes with driveways and spacious lots are the Gregorian and Prairie School mansions and the Waller lot of Buena Park founder Robert A. Waller. It also features Montrose Harbor, a beautiful marina that features sailboats, motorboats, & yachts alike. Residents have easy access to the beaches and parks that border Lake Michigan while in the comfort of magnificent condominiums, apartments and single-family homes.

Transportation is not a problem with the Red, Brown and Purple Line “L” as well as several bus stops in the neighborhood. Hotspots in Buena Park include Michael’s, a pizzeria and sports bar and The Holiday Club, where one can rock in retro seven nights a week. Entertainment and leisure in this neighborhood range from running, boating, volleyball, fishing, biking, enjoying the lake, and anything else you can put your mind to. Specialty retailers like florists, auto repair, and convenience stores are conveniently scattered around the neighborhood for your daily needs.
